Villa aluminium works and glass for residential projects

Villa aluminium works start from the shape of the project and the state of the site, not from a system name. Send drawings, photos or first measurements, or ask for a site visit if the building is already standing.

Start with what you have now

If you have drawings — send the architectural drawings and available details, so the doors and windows, glazed areas, skylights and any cladding or facade works in the design can be identified.

If you have photos or first measurements — send clear photos of the openings or facades with the sizes you have. They do not need to be final.

If the building is already standing — a site visit may be the better start when the openings or facades need checking in person before the scope or final sizes are set.

Choose the right solution for each part of the villa

Windows and doors

Choose the system by the size of the opening, how it is used, the opening type, the glass and the finish, and compare the shapes and colours of aluminum windows. For the main entrance, see our aluminium doors for exterior and interior use. Complete units ship with Italian accessories.

Aluminium doors and windows

Architectural glass

Set the glass requirements by where the glass is used and the system it belongs to in the project.

Tempered glass

Glass roofs

For overhead openings and glazed areas, with the opening size and the roof build-up reviewed together.

Skylights

Facade finishes

For the parts of the facade that need architectural cladding tied to the openings and edges.

Define what each opening needs before choosing a system

A door, window or glazed area is not matched to a system by name alone. First know where it sits in the villa, the opening size, how it will be used, the opening type, the glass, the colour or finish, the surrounding details and the state of the site.

When do you need a site visit?

A site visit helps once the building has reached a stage where the openings and facades can be checked in person, or when some details do not show clearly in the photos or drawings. If the project is still in design, the drawings and first information are usually enough to start the review.

Or ask for a site visit if the site needs checking in person.

Which facade system suits a villa?

It depends on the part of the facade. Large glass areas with no visible profiles call for structural glazing, the most requested system in modern villas; solid parts and opening surrounds take aluminium cladding; balconies and stairs need a glass railing reviewed with the facade. The glass type is settled with the system, not separately.

If you have not decided yet, our glass facades comparison explains when each system fits. Starting points, supplied and installed before VAT in Makkah: windows from SAR 325/m², doors from SAR 450/m², structural glazing from SAR 470/m² and cladding from SAR 180/m².

Glass types for villa facades

The main facade glass options: double glazing traps a layer of air that reduces heat transfer; laminated glass holds together when it breaks and is specified for glass roofs and high facades; reflective, tinted and Low-E glass are treatments chosen by facade orientation, sun intensity and the privacy you need. Reflective glass gives privacy by day only — see our majlis glass guide. For a facade exposed to strong sun, one solution comes before the glass itself: louvers and sun breakers shade it from outside and cut the heat before it reaches the glass.

Frequently asked questions

I want aluminium and glass works for a villa without complete drawings. What should I do?

Start with clear photos of the openings or facades and the first measurements you have; complete drawings or final sizes are not required. You do not need to know the system's name either: it is set after the photos are reviewed, and if the building is already standing, a site visit may be the better start. Send your villa details for review.

When is a site visit useful for a villa?

When the building is already standing and the openings or facades need checking in person, or when some details are not clear in the photos or drawings.

Which systems suit a villa?

It depends on the design: aluminium windows and doors for the openings, structural glazing facades, the most requested in modern villas, aluminium cladding for solid facade parts, skylights for overhead openings, and aluminium pergolas for outdoor courtyards. The glass type is chosen with the system, not on its own; for a first estimate, use the cost calculator.

How much do villa aluminium works cost?

Starting points, supplied and installed before VAT in Makkah: windows from SAR 325/m², doors from SAR 450/m², structural glazing from SAR 470/m² and cladding from SAR 180/m². Other cities add 3% to 10% for transport and installation, and the final figure follows the system, glass, finish and sizes; see our aluminium and glass prices.

Does reflective glass keep a villa private at night?

No. Reflective glass gives daytime privacy only: it looks like a mirror from the brighter side, and after sunset the lit interior becomes the brighter side, so it can be seen from outside.
