For developers and project owners
Aluminium and glass solutions for developers and project owners
Aluminium and glass works for developers pass between several parties, from consultant to contractor and procurement, before fabrication and installation. Know clearly what has been settled and what still needs a decision.
Keep the scope clear between the project's parties
When the consultant, the contractor, procurement and project management all share the same scope, information and decisions can end up spread across several hands. A review shows you:
- the limits of the aluminium, glass and facade works
- the drawings and specifications the scope relies on
- the systems, finishes and glass requirements
- the junctions with other trades
- the information or approvals needed before fabrication
- what is ready for supply or installation
- the snags or remaining works before handover
Our internal quality control and our compliance with the Saudi Building Code are set out in detail on our quality standards and building code page.
Start with the information you have
You do not need to wait for every project document. Send what is available: architectural or facade drawings, a BOQ or scope of works, specifications and schedules, the project type and use, the project city and current stage, the parties involved in design and execution, and the target timeline if there is one.
What does the project need at each stage?
Each stage has its own need. At study stage, a clear scope and an early budget; before fabrication, coordinated sizes and drawings; on site, area readiness, supply and installation; after handover, snags reviewed against the warranty terms. Each stage relies on decisions closed in the one before, so open points stay visible.
At study stage
Review the scope, its limits, the systems required and the points that need clarifying before pricing. For an early budget, see aluminium and glass prices per m² in Saudi Arabia (2026). If the project includes a glass facade, compare its systems in our glass facades guide.
Before fabrication
Sizes and drawings need closer coordination, which can include shop drawings and a material take-off.
Technical office and shop drawingsMoving to site
Follow area readiness, supply, installation and review until the scope of works is complete.
Project execution and quality controlAfter handover
Later snags are reviewed against the scope of works and the project's warranty terms, and the factory maintains the work it installed, within the warranty and after it.
Warranty and maintenance of our workCoordinate with the consultant and contractor without following every detail yourself
If you have a consultant or architect, the drawings, specifications and details of the aluminium and glass works can be coordinated with them directly, as described on our page for facade consultants and architects. If a main contractor runs the project, coordination with them covers the scope, the documents, site status, supply and installation, as set out on our aluminium contractor for projects page.
Your aim is to keep the status of the scope and the decisions that affect it clear, while each party handles the details of its own responsibility.

If the project is in design, send the early drawings and the scope of works. If execution has started, send the latest drawings and the site status.
Frequently asked questions
What matters most for a developer to follow in aluminium and glass works?
Knowing what has been settled, what still needs a decision or approval, and what is ready for the next stage, especially when several parties share the same scope.
Does the developer need to follow every detail personally?
No. Technical details can be coordinated directly with the consultant, and site status and supply with the contractor, while the decisions that affect the scope stay clear to the developer.
After handover, who reviews the snags?
Qusoor Al-Sultan does, once you send the project details, the quote or contract number and a description of the issue with photos or video. The case is checked against the scope of works and the warranty terms agreed in the quote or contract; within the warranty it is handled under it, and after the warranty the factory still maintains the work it installed. Details are on our warranty and maintenance of our work page.
What can a developer send to start?
Whatever is available: architectural or facade drawings, a BOQ or scope of works, specifications and schedules, the project type and use, its city and current stage, the parties involved in design and execution, and the target timeline if there is one. There is no need to wait for a complete set of documents.
How can a developer estimate the aluminium and glass budget early?
Start from the published starting rates per m², supplied and installed before VAT in Makkah, with the uplift for other cities, in our aluminium and glass prices guide. The technical office then prices the actual scope from the drawings and the BOQ.
